<p>Yum yum. The first raspberries are ready for eating. Perfect timing, really, as the strawberries have now all been picked and eaten.</p>
<p>We&#8217;re growing four different kinds of raspberry, all chosen because they should come into fruit at different times of the year. Well, that&#8217;s the theory anyway. Turns out it&#8217;s not that exact a science as they&#8217;re all coming out round about now.</p>
<p>Not necessarily a bad thing, of course: it means we had at least three different varieties each tonight with the lighter, plumper berries by far the juicier and most tasty.</p>
<p>Sadly, despite having ten canes in total we don&#8217;t have an enormous crop, so how many bowls of fruit we&#8217;re going to get, I don&#8217;t know.</p>
<p>We&#8217;ll just have to bulk them up with more ice cream.</p>
