Chef Nigel Slater has a new book coming out, which focuses primarily on vegetables, and particularly on growing your own. He got so frustrated about not being able to bag himself an allotment when he was writing it that he dug up his lawn to establish his plot. Now that’s dedication.

Anyhow, to mark the first volume’s publication (it’s a two-part book) he’s released a series of videos on YouTube.

Here’s the first in the series, where he discusses growing beans what what he does with them.
