<p>See those? Those up above are two of our first four apricots, blown off the tree in the high winds. That&#8217;s not good, is it.</p>
<p>I hope the other two can continue to hang on, but I&#8217;m having my doubts. The whole tree is looking a bit sorry for itself: while the branches around the edge are all leafy and green, the ones in the middle, closest to the stem, are brown and their leaves are dead.</p>
<p>Poor tree. We&#8217;ve only had it a year, and looked after it carefully through winter, putting it in a spot where it can get the best of the little light you get at that time of year and now, with the warmer weather upon us, making sure it hasn&#8217;t dried out.</p>
<p>I wonder what could be up.</p>
