Two stories about newspapers championing environmental concerns today:

The Guardian has relaunched its environment section. Environment Guardian has six dedicated correspondents, including one in China and another in Washington DC, with the new section gathering together all environmental coverage from across the Guardian site. It looks great, and it’s well worth subscribing to its RSS feed here.

The News of the World is heading to the United Nations at the end of the month to address delegates on its Seeds for Schools initiative. The initiative seeks to plant a million new trees in the UK by sending 12 million seeds to 31,000 primary and secondary schools around the UK.
