Knit yourself a winter hat

What timing! The Guardian has been bitten by the knitting bug and published this apparently easy guide to knitting yourself a winter hat.

Even to me, without knowing much about the dark art of needles and yarn, it does look rather simple, and easily tailored to heads of any size.

Quite tempted.
